Let me vent for a second, what the freak is up with Target lately and their coupon protective cashiers?! Today I walked out almost in tears and I DON'T CRY. First off, I think the management needs to train ALL of their cashiers on the corporate coupon policy and make sure they understand we aren't cheating them out of ANYTHING! I hate when you get a cashier that thinks you are doing something dishonest and question EVERY single coupon. Come on now guys, if the first 5 coupons are legit do you really think I am going to try and sneak anything that's NOT legit past you? I would rather go to he** for something else, not just to save a non-honest buck or two.
To refresh every one's mind I worked in customer service for 8 years and so I think I have a pretty good handle on how customers SHOULD be treated. More importantly I understand how to be a good customer. I always come prepared and organized and make sure I get the correct item with the correct coupon and go to the least busiest cashier. Again I do my part to be respectful and courteous to EVERYONE.
But lately I keep getting the WORST cashiers at Target. And it makes me sad :( I am a Target girl through and through but my experience tonight makes me question if they really are training customer service anymore. I understand coupons are most likely annoying, but Target is still creating new ones and continues to accept MFQ's so I hate to be rude but ITS YOUR JOB to accept them!
Tonight I ended up with all my items and coupons accounted for, but I still walked out frustrated. I just hate that the cashiers give you that look, ya know the look like 'Wow you just went from over $30 to under $2, you must be cheating the system' its so ridiculous. But unless Target changes their policy I will battle it out every week, with my Coupon Policy in hand, and continue to get good deals. SUCK IT CASHIERS!
